Together we can do more

Some of the benefits of partnering up with us

Growing rapidly – In 2014 Volunteer Activists has been officially registered in the Netherlands as a non-profit foundation. Ever since, VA is growing rapidly. We are one of the leading non-profit organizations seeking peace and democracy in Iran.

Longstanding relationship – We are all about longstanding projects. It’s necessary as, unfortunately, our goals can’t be accomplished overnight. This means we are seeking longstanding relationships with our partners.

Large network – We focus on the MENA region, and Iran in particular. Due to our large local network, we enable ourselves to reflect the voices of civic actors in order to help them.

Multilingual – As we focus on the MENA region and Iran in particular, VA is multilingual. With our office based in the Netherlands and being an Iranian organization, we communicate in English, Farsi (Persian) and Dutch.

Nonviolent – We respect the diversity of the people of the societies we target, respectful of all genders, orientations, religions and minority groups. Doing so, we seek a nonviolent approach. We are committed to inspiring dialogue from the bottom up. ‌

Well informed – VA is an institute, whose primary aim is capacity building among activists and civil society organizations. This means we are well informed when it comes to democracy, human rights and peace building within Iranian society and communities in the MENA region.
Transparent and Accountable– Transparency and Accountability one of our core values. Both in our projects and within our organization, we believe that transparency and accountability are needed within civil society, and therefor are implemented in our organization as well.
